Jack and Riggs Make 5!
Happy Easter!

December 21st early in the morning we welcomed Jack and Riggs to our family. We arrived at the hospital at 5am and the boys arrived at 6:20am. Needless to say, things moved along quickly. :-) I had been having 10 days of very "slow" labor with lots of contractions and finally the boys decided it was really time.

They arrived at 35 weeks which is great for a twin pregnancy. Warren Jackson Gallaher arrived first and weighed 4 and 1/2 lbs. Thomas Riggs Gallaher quickly followed and weighed 6lbs 1 oz. Jack is named after his Great Grandpa Luther Warren Proeger and Riggs is named his great uncle Robert Thomas Hill . Jack our little guy did really well, but Riggs had to spend some time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for a few days. He quickly graduated and with some extra persuasion and an accommodating doctor, we were able to bring our WHOLE family home on Christmas Eve. We did have to spend our Christmas morning at Children's Hospital having him rechecked, but it was worth it :-)

The last few months have been eventful. We would not have survived without the help of Pal and Poppy (Jen's parents.) They are here to help everyday. We have also been lucky to have the help of GG (Great Grandma) and TaTa (Uncle Tom) each week. We have been really lucky to have a lot of family visit. It will be quite a while before we master traveling with 3 children 2 and under. :-)

Our first visit was from Auntie(Aunt Kathy from Atlanta) then Nana and Great Grandma Proeger. This was Great Grandma's 2nd plane trip ever! Kate loves when Nana visits and talks often of flying to Iowa to see her.
We next were visited by Grandpa Dave and left him with the boys while we walked across the street to a neighbors party. We were gone for about 45 minutes and returned just before things got too hectic for one person to manage! :-)

Aunt Sara, Uncle Mike, Ben and Betsy then for Spring Break. Grandpa Dave and Mary also visited the same weekend. It was great to have the visits coincide with the Baptisms at Montview Presbyterian. We had a brunch at Highland Garden Cafe and were lucky to have so many family and friends with us.

Kate is doing really well and loves her brothers. She is a big help fetching diapers and feeding her own babies. She is busy with her regular activities including music, and gym class. Her newest is ballet and tap. She has her first recital at the end of May. It is so funny and cute. I am sure you can imagine 10 2-3 year olds in tap shoes on stage. Priceless.

Jack and Riggs are growing so quickly. We forgot how fast this infant stage goes by. You would not think they were preemies if you saw them. Jack is still little for his age and is on the chart, but below the 5% for height, weight and head circumference. Riggs on the other hand had earned his name of "BIG RIGG." He is in the 78% for weight and getting bigger by the minute. They are smiling, cooing, and beginning to laugh. So much fun! They go to music class with Kate and spend time with family and friends each day
We will keep you posted as our chaos unfolds!

Happy Fall!

We hope this finds everyone well! I have attached a few pictures from Halloween and this fall. Kate will be 2 in December and we are busy getting ready for the arrival of the twins.
Picking out pumpkins with Daddy!

Kate was a Strawberry for Halloween and she loved her costume. She asked to sleep in it many nights. Our neighboorhood hosts a Halloween party with a parade and all of our friends from our street made an appearance. Our street is full of children and Kate loves to venture out and play everyday.
Finally, lots of pictures of pumpkins...my belly is the size of a major pumpkin. :-) This is me at 28 weeks with the boys. We can't imagine how big I am going to be by the time they arrive. We will keep you all posted!

Much love,

Seth, Jennie, and Kate

Happy Summer!

Happy Summer!

Kate is continuing to grow quickly. She is now 20 months and is as busy as ever. She is quite the director and loves to tell us what to do. She is continuing to enjoy all of her activities inlcuding music, soccer, and gym class. She has playdates with her friends and loves to play with her cousins and grandparents.

She is the comedian in our house as she learns to say MANY words. Her favorite breakfast food is waffles which she calls "awfuls." We think she uses them more as a vehicle to inhale butter. This morning she insisted that all 3 of us get into the bathtub (no water)to dance together. It was quite the spectacle!

We are doing our best to get her ready for the arrival of her brothers. If you ask her about the babies, she either lifts her shirt and points to her belly or points to Mommy's. We've included some picutures from the last few months. Enjoy!

Much Love,

Jen, Seth, and Kate

Kate says "Happy New Year!!"

We realize this is a little late., but we hope this note finds everyone well! We've been busy here in Colorado. Miss Kate is a VERY active 13 month old and she keeps us running. She took her first steps in Iowa the day before Thanksgiving and was practically running by Christmas day. She is dying to talk and is able to say 6 words now...with her limited vocabulary she still has no problem communmicating her strong opinions. :-) She is so much fun now and we can't believe that a year has already passed. Here are some pictures of the last few months.

We said goodbye to Savannah the first weekend in December. We were happy to see Becky and her daughter Anna. Kate and Anna had fun playing together. It was hard to leave for the last time, but we are so glad to have Mom, Dad, and Grandmama close by. They moved to Colorado just before Christmas. They live just a mile from our house!

We spent Christmas at our house with the whole family. Hill, Susie, and Alden came from Park City (they are moving to Colorado in April) and Grandpa Dave came from Iowa. Kate had a blast playing with her cousins and enjoying her loot from Santa.

We celebrated Kate's 1st birthday with a party at at Children's gym. She invited 8 of her pals to come play. She wasn't so sure about the birthday cake. She has since learned to like sweets. :-)

Enjoying her first sledding experience with Dad and Grandpa Dave!

We will keep you posted! Happy 2008 to everyone!

Love,

Jen, Seth, and Kate
